Educating the public is one of the most important components to the Delaware Solid Waste Authority. Being seen in the public and available at various venues to answer questions about solid waste management and recycling are an integral part of DSWA’s Public Information Group. Throughout each year, DSWA’s Public Information Group attends many events all over the state. DSWA also serves on the committee for Safe Summer Day. This event is held each June and hosted by the Kent County Levy Court with support from DSWA and other organizations. The event helps to promote public health and safety.
