Construction & Demolition Debris at Transfer Stations
DSWA’s Construction & Demolition (C&D) debris policy for transfer stations has been in place since May 2022. This policy helps ensure C&D debris is handled consistently across all DSWA transfer stations.
Contractors are not permitted to dispose of C&D debris at DSWA transfer stations and should take these materials directly to the landfill.
Homeowners may bring C&D debris to DSWA transfer stations only when the load meets ALL of the following requirements:
- The truck or trailer does not display a construction company logo.
- The load is not being hauled in a dump trailer.
- The load is not being hauled in a double-axle trailer.
If any one of these conditions is not met, the customer will be directed to take the C&D debris to the landfill.
Examples of loads that must go to the landfill include:
- A homeowner using a dump trailer
- A homeowner using a double-axle trailer
- A truck or trailer displaying a construction company logo
- Any contractor hauling C&D debris
For landfill locations and additional information, please visit dswa.com/landfills or call DSWA at 1-800-404-7080.

First-time Revolution Recovery customers should call 302-356-3000 before visiting. For hours, location, and additional information, visit Revolution Recovery’s website
